IT Return Wake up Call before it is too Late

Income Tax Department has identified 58,95,830 non-filers of IT returns, for the Assessment Year 2014-15, who have:

• Deposited Cash of Rs.10,00,000 or more in a Saving Bank Account.
• Purchased immovable property valued at Rs.30,00,000 or more.
• Received Rental income u/s 194l

The Income Tax Department has drawn the list of non-filers through NMS (Non-filers Monitoring System).

Late filing of IT Return for AY 2014-15 and AY 2015-16 can be filed till 31st March, 2016.
